Colchester Night Shelter is a registered charity which has been helping homeless people since 1984. The present Night Shelter, which has room for 20 men and women is wholly owned by the charity was purchased from Colchester Borough Council using funding from the National Lottery.

Chelmsford Foodbank

The Trussell Trust’s UK foodbank network works in partnership with local churches and communities to open foodbanks in local communities. There are now over 205 foodbanks in the UK. Last year the foodbank network fed over 128,000 people. Link with Chelmsford’s foodbank here.
