Five-a-Side again
The football team is back. Well, actually it never went away. The players moved from the Dovedales Five-a-Side league to a Six-a-Side League and our webmaster couldn't keep up with them. They are now back at Dovedales playing Five-a-Side football for a new season.
They've come back with a slightly new branding. The team was originally called "CHESS Masters" but a certain natural modesty has caused a change of name to "CHESS FC". (An unaccountable delay in becoming masters of the game may also have contributed.)
Help needed
The team needs your help.
The best help you could give would be to turn up for the matches and support them. You will find details of this season's fixtures here.
The team is also in great need of footballs. To say they are a bit short of footballs would be to understate the problem. On Tuesday they only had one practice ball left! Any footballs you could donate would be greatly welcomed; contact Tony at the Day Centre.
